The leaves here in our sweet little town and the surrounding areas are simply amazing this time of year! This past weekend my wife and I went on a drive around the mountains to see all the wonderful colors here in Western North Carolina where we live. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, getting out and seeing the season change, taking some short walks and getting pictures of the fall leaves in the crisp cool air, such a relaxing and peaceful day. The drive over Wayah Bald was beautiful. We are truly blessed to live, play, and work here and experience these views and the change of seasons year round.  I must say, if anyone is planning a trip this way, please do try and get here this weekend if you can so you do not miss the peak of fall.  The leaves are brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges right now and will soon be on the ground.  Its a beauty we often take for granted and don't take the time to truly marvel at, but I encourage all of you to take a short drive, or a long one, with your loved ones and a picnic, and have yourselves a great afternoon enjoying the beauty that surrounds us here in the mountains of Western North Carolina this time of year.
